The job comes first.

Static, CMS, WordPress or custom: choose the architecture that fits the work, not the one somebody happens to sell.

Build philosophyUse less when less is better.

Architecture earns its complexity.

Approach

Not everything needs WordPress.

A fast, portable static site can be the right answer. WordPress or another CMS can be the right answer when editing workflows and dynamic content justify it. Custom code can be the right answer when the product actually needs custom behaviour.

01Fit the architecture to the job.
02Keep ownership and portability clean.
03Avoid maintenance for maintenance’s sake.
04Design for reuse where it genuinely saves work.

Build routes

Three sensible starting points.

These are architecture routes, not rigid packages. The actual build should be chosen after understanding what the website needs to do.

01

Lean / static

Fast, portable and low-maintenance when content does not need a full CMS.

02

CMS / WordPress

Useful when ongoing editing, content workflows or established plugins justify it.

03

Custom

For genuine application behaviour or workflows that standard site tooling cannot serve cleanly.

After launch

Hosting and care stay separate.

Hosting keeps the infrastructure layer clear. Website Care is the separate higher-touch service for ongoing content, plugin/theme work, maintenance or other human intervention.

You may not need a rebuild at all. We can inspect the migration route first.
